Jason L. Goines, a 30-year-old Queens man, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Southern State Parkway, early Monday morning on August 17, 2009, according to New York State Police.  The tragic motorcycle crash occurred on the section of the parkway known as “Blood Alley.”

Goines was speeding on a Suzuki motorcycle, heading eastbound, when he tried to change lanes and hit the rear of a Chevrolet at the Corona Avenue exit at 3:38 AM, said police.  The impact of the collision caused Goines to be ejected from his motorcycle.  He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Part of the Southern State Parkway was closed for nearly four hours while investigators reviewed the crash scene.
