
July 6, 2010 - New York City, NY - Small New York state businesses now have a new option to provide their employees with disability insurance.
Guardian Life Insurance Company of America recently approved a new disability insurance program for New York state companies with fewer than 50 employees. This new offer satisfies the New York disability insurance requirements according to Guardian.
The new Guardian New York State Disability Law program provides up to $700 in weekly benefits for up to 26 weeks for disabled employees from companies with 10-49 employees. For smaller companies with 2-9 employees, the maximum benefits are $500 for up to 26 weeks.
There are also programs for businesses with more than 50 employees, with weekly benefits up to $750 per week for up to 52 weeks.
