What is a Workers Compensation Board Examiner?

A: The examiner will perform examining work, apply knowledge of law and of Board rules, regulations, policies and procedures to compensation and disability benefit cases. Examiners may determine whether a case should be indexed, provide information for judges to make decisions, request additional information for the claim, refer appropriate cases to concillation and prepare formal notices based upon the judge's directions.
