What is a non-schedule permanent partial disability?

A: Non-fatal injuries that do not involve schedule permanent partial disabilities or cosmetic facial disfigurement and in which the claimant retains some earning capacity are assigned permanent disability benefits based on the claimant's actual or presumed wage loss, with benefits to continue for the duration of the wage loss disability.
