What are some inexpensive ways to raise my property value before having my house appraised for the sales process?

A:

  • Do some inexpensive renovations such as a fresh coat of paint or power washing the concrete;
  • Clean up.  Don't just do general cleaning but make sure your closets are organized and some what cleared out;
  • Get rid of any bad smells in your home;
  • Do small things that may help your house look more presentable such as changing light bulbs that are blown out and planting flowers or laying down grass in dirt areas or in areas that the grass is missing or bare looking.
