Firm Settles Car Accident Lawsuit for $470,000

The Firm is pleased to announce the settlement of a lawsuting resulting from a car accident for $470,000. The Client was a rear seat passenger in a car owned by Defendant 1 and driven by Defendant 2. They were returning to Staten Island from a night out at a Queens, New York club when the driver of the car crashed head-on into a concrete exit barrier. The client was not wearing her seatbelt and was thrown forward into the windshield. She sustained numerous cuts to her face and scalp and fractured a vertebrae in her neck.  The defendants did not deny that they were responsible for the accident but argued that since the client was not wearing her seatbelt, she was the cause of her injuries. case settled prior to jury selection in Kings County before Judge Hurkin-Torres.
