Vicks recently recalled one of their nasal sprays due to contamination that was found during a routine examination of the over the counter drug. The tainted nasal spray is Vick's Sinex Vapospray 12-hour Decongestant Ultra Fine Mist which was sold in accross the United States, Germany and Britian but only affected the 15mm size container.
Proctor & Gamble are urging anyone who has purchased the Vick's nasal spray to stop using it immediately and contact Proctor & Gamble for a full refund or replacement of the product.
This recalled product was found to contain the dangerous bacteria B. Cepacia which can cause devistating infections in those with lung conditions and frail immune systems. If you are currently using this product you should stop use immediately to avoid possible contamination and illness from the recalled medicine.
