According to a report recently released by the Staten Island Advance a high school student was involved in a physical fight with a football coach allegedly.
The injured high school student from Staten Island's Tottenville High School filed criminal complaints against the high school football coach from Moore Catholic High School after he was alleged shoved by the coach in the locker room. The altercation occurred when a charity game was being played at the school between Moore Catholic School and Susan Wagner High School. The coach brought his team into the locker room at which time a few high school students from Tottenville High School's football team (who were playing a different football game that day) were taking their own belongings from their lockers before leaving. The coach reportedly yelled at them to leave and shoved the Tottenville student. After the shove the high school student reportedly tried to punch the coach but missed which then resulted in some of the football players from Moore Catholic School pouncing on the football player.
The Tottenville football player was left with a gash above his eye which required stitches.
