Staten Island Residents with a Young Child Should Take Heed to Tike Tech Jogging Stroller Recall Due to Strangulation

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the voluntary recall of Tike Tech jogging strollers due to strangulation hazard.

Tike Tech is recalling approximately 800 Tike Tech Single City X3 and X3 Sport Jogging Strollers which were sold between October 2009 and February 2010 for about $300.

The jogging strollers are being recalled due to a space issue between the grab bar and the seat bottom on the strollers. This area allows the infants body but not head to slide through and could possibly cause a baby or toddler to strangle or choke.

If you own a Tike Tech the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is urging you to stop use of the recalled jogging stroller immediately. Consumers can call 800.296.4602 to speak with Tike Tech manufacturers.
