A few days ago a motorcycle crash in Staten Island occured that
claimed the life of a 19 year old Staten Island resident.
The motorcyclist was fatally injured after his motorcycle hit the curb and several trees before coming to a hault.
According to reports police do not know how the accident occured and the police are hoping that witnesses will come forward with information on this motorcycle accident.
This man lost his life and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family he left behind. We hope that justice is brought to the family.
Who is at fault for this Staten Island motorcycle accident?
Honestly in this situation it is hard to tell who is at fault for the accident because we are not sure if the motorcyclist lost control of the motorcycle due to the negligence of someone else of if he lost control on his own by accident. Until the police investigations show further proof that it was caused by another driver's negligence or until someone comes forward with information it is hard to determine who is at fault. If it is determined that this was a hit and run the person who caused the accident to occur would be the same person who fled the scene of the accident. When someone flees the scene of an accident it is not only negligence that the man's family can start a lawsuit for but also the person who is responsible for the hit and run will be charged for a hit and run which is considering a crime.
