A 66-year old Staten Island resident by the name of Ettore Infantino was taken to the Westchester Medical Center by a helicopter yesterday afternoon after being involved in a fatal car crash in upstate New York.
The serious injuries the Staten Island man is suffering from were the result of a fatal car accident involving Ettore Infantino's Minivan and an SUV driven by 19-year old Victoria Picon on Route 17B in the town of Cochecton.
Although Victoria Picon was treated for only minor injuries after the accident the two passengers in her vehicle were seriously hurt.
Witnesses stated on the police report that the accident occured when Victoria Picon's vehicle crossed over the double yellow lines into the oncoming lane.
