This holiday season one thing you will want to keep in mind while shopping is product recalls. While stores are supposed to take recalled products off of the shelves and the products are not to be sold some products still end up being sold sometimes. This can make it dangerous for the consumer.
The National School Safety Coalition has began setting up a system of different ways to follow product recalls more closely - especially recalls for children's products. One of the ways the program is helping is that participating school will send home information about product recalls for children and household products to help parents know if there are products in their home that need to be removed. Another way is though their website
Click, Check and Protect which has information about the most up to date product recalls. They also provide a way to have product recalls sent to your cell phone.
Making sure you and your family stay safe is something that shouldn't need to be done when it comes to children's products and household items but unfortunately it is does need to be done.
