On August 19, 2009 the
Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) along with the products manufacturer, One World Technologies, voluntarily recalled their Ridgid 10-inch Table Saw due to a laceration hazard.
The recall of the Ridgid Table Saw comes after three people reported the malfunction of the product, so far no injuries have been reported.
The malfunctioning table saw is dangerous because the table's saw arbor shaft can fail when used with a stacked blade set (device used to cut grooves) causing the stacked blade set to be ejected from the saw. If the stacked blade set is ejected while the saw is being used it can potentially cause a laceration.
If you have been injured by a malfunctioning or recalled product you need a personal injury lawyer to represent you in your lawsuit against the manufacturer. Contact an experienced
