Exterior Stucco Reprimanded for Multiple Work Safety Violations in Staten Island

Exterior Stucco Systems Inc. was issued five safety violations by the Occupation Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) while working at 2026 Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island. The violations were not issued because of a work accident but rather were issued because of the unsafe atmosphere in which the work was being conducted. 

Violations at the Staten Island site included:
  • Failing to maintain a safety program
  • Failing to fully plank scaffold access
  • Failing to provide a ladder for scaffold access
  • Failing to remove and replace damaged scaffold components
  • Failing to properly brace scaffolds with cross braces
