Double Stroller Zooper Recalled After Children are Injured from Stroller Collapsing

A voluntary recall was issued by Lan Enterprises LLC and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for 3,700 double strollers.

The strollers being recalled have the word "Zooper" printed on the side of the tray, on the stroller canopy and also on the grab bars.

The double strollers are being recalled because of over 185 reports of the strollers collapsing with children and infants in them. So far the only cases involving injury according to Lan Enterprises LLC are cases involving scrapes, scratches and bruises.

Zooper double strollers were sold by major stores such as Toysrus and Babiesrus and other large retail stores between January 2007 and August 2008 for about $400 to $430.

If you have one of these strollers please contact Zooper USA at 888.966.7379 for more information. If your child was injured by the double stroller collapsing they should be seen by their doctor or a hospital if injuries are severe.
