A 25-year old Long Island woman, LaChele Prophet, is in the hospital in serious condition after a crash that occured on Labor Day afternoon on Route 110 in Huntington Station.
The chain crash occurred when a driver made a U-turn and cut off a pick-up truck. The pick-up truck veered off of the road into a parking lot at crashed into three parked cars to avoid hitting the car that made the U-turn.
LaChele Prophet was getting into her parked car in the Bay Shore Furs parking lot when the pick-up truck crashed into the row of parked cars. The force from the crash pushed LaChele Prophet's car into the Bay Shore Furs building and pinned her against the wall. She suffered from injuries to her legs and arms.
