Car Crashes Into Dongan Hills Restuarant in Staten Island

A car crashed into the side of the Fortune Garden restaurant a little before 6:00 pm on September 9, 2009.

The unidentified woman was seen by witnesses driving a 2006 Volkswagen Passat in the middle lane on Hylan Boulevard and then proceeded to make a right hand turn onto Liberty Boulevard while in the middle lane still.  The Passat crashed into a car that was in the right hand lane on Hylan Boulevard.  The crash caused the Passat to go onto the curb and hit the side of Fortune Garden.  

According to reports no one was seriously injured and there was no structural damage to the building.  The only thing that seemed to be damaged were the cars and some bushes and trees outside of Fortune Garden.
