Car Accident Apps and Car Accident Glove Box Kits

Have you ever been involved in a car accident and not known what to do or worry about what you will do when if you ever get into a car accident? Maybe you worry if you will say and do the right things after the accident occurs.  These are valid and common concerns that people have.  It is common not to be 100% sure what to do after a car accident and to worry that you may forget what you do know when you are in the midst of all of the commotion of a car accident. 

There are a couple of different ways you can prevent yourself from forgetting important information when involved in a car accident and that is to have the information you need to remember right in front of you.  Here are some ways that you can keep track of what you are supposed to do if you have been involved in an automobile accident:

• Car Accident Report App - If you have an iPhone, Android or Blackberry phone or if you have an iPad you will be able to download an application called C.A.R. which is a car accident report app that assists you in what to do after you have been involved in a car accident.  To find out more about the C.A.R. app you can view it on iTunes or you can search for it in the application download section on your phone if it is compatable. 
• Glove Box Accident Kit - If you do not have a iPhone, Android, Blackberry or iPad or if you just would like to be safe and have an extra set of directions on what to do after a car accident you can request a free glove box accident kit.  A glove box accident kit is basically a kit that goes in your glove box that will make it easy for you to collect any information that can be considered detrimental to your accident case.  Things that are included in our New York glove box accident kit for example are areas where you can put witnesses names, phone number and notes, positioning of cars, where the damages to your vehicle and the other vehicle is and many other tips and pieces of advice as to what to do and what not to do after an accident.  We recommend that even if you do have the C.A.R. app on your phone that you keep a glove box accident kit in your glove box - you never know what will happen to your phone in an accident.  Many times in accidents the phone may get damaged or lost in your car from the impact of the accident and may not be easily accessable or working to use the C.A.R. app.
