A Brooklyn woman accused of killing a Staten Island jogger and injuring another jogger has been indicted by a grand jury. The Brooklyn driver plans on fighting the charges and if convicted on all accounts will face up to 9 years in prison. The accident where a car hit a jogger occurred this past January on Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island. The woman is also accused of driving under the influence of pain medication and anxiety pills.

Brooklyn Driver Accused of Killing a Staten Island Jogger and Injuring Another Indicted by Grand Jury

A Brooklyn driver being accused of killing a Staten Island jogger and injuring another Staten Island jogger has been indicted by a grand jury. The woman who plans on fighting the grand jury's decision is accused of driving under the influence of high dose pain killer and anxiety pills. 

The accident took place January 5, 2010 when a special education teacher and his girlfriend were jogging on Hylan Boulevard in Staten Island.  

If convicted on all accounts the Brooklyn driver could face 9 years in prison.
